Roff Vertifix is a two-component, high strength construction epoxy adhesive for spot bonding large format tile and stone on vertical surfaces, for either interior or approved exterior applications. Roff Vertifix resin and hardener are to be mixed thoroughly in the recommended mixing ratio to achieve optimum results.

ADDING ENDURANCE TO BEAUTY

STEP 1

All substrates must be clean and dry before application of Roff Vertifix. Remove dust with a wire brush from entire surface.
Ensure that surface is thoroughly cleaned for direct bond.(Wipe with a clean cloth if required).

STEP 2

Mix one part of resin with 0.5 parts of the hardener. Mix until a uniform colour is formed, without any swirls. Mix the required quantity only, enough to be used within 60-minute pot life. Small quantities can be mixed with a putty knife or margin trowel. For larger quantities, use an electric drill mixer (at low speed).

STEP 3

Apply dabs that are evenly distributed on the backside of the stone or tile. It is recommended to put a minimum of five dabs per sq.ft. (four in each corner and one in the centre). Cover, at least, 10% of the area of each piece. The finished dab thickness must be a minimum of 1/8” (3 mm).

STEP 4

After applying Roff Vertifix on the stone or tile, place the stone or tile on the substrate and adjust for plumb and level.

STEP 5

Use clamps for safety, and remove them after 5-7 hours.
