Crystalline waterproofing compound
Prevents water leakage when used as a waterproof coating for concrete water tanks, sunken slabs of bathrooms and toilets, basements, lift wells, inspections pits and underground structures. Particularly effective for basement waterproofing.
Highly alkaline cementitious powder-based waterproof coating.
Brush and clean the surface thoroughly to remove all loose particles, release agents, dust, curing compounds and other surface contaminants. This will expose the bare concrete pores.
The prepared concrete surface should be wetted with water to achieve a saturated surface dry condition before the application of the coating.
Properly mix Roff Hyseal with water in the proportion of 2.5:1 (powder:water) by volume with a slow speed drill machine to get a brush-applicable consistency.
Apply the first coat of the slurry prepared on water-saturated wet concrete.
Apply a second coat when the 1st coat is still tacky in direction perpendicular to the first coat.
To allow the effective penetration of Roff Hyseal into the concrete, curing with water must be thorough and continuous for more than seven days.
